Did I Just Reinvent the Wheel?
Once, after getting out of the shower, my husband commented, "Someone should make a device that heats and blows air that you could use to dry your hair instead of of towel." Regardless of that statement, I would like to make it known that he is a very smart man. I think I might be having one of those moments.
I accidentally sloshed oil down the front of my stove and when I wiped it off, I noticed that it looked way better than the unaffected parts. Hmm... oil makes stainless steel beautiful! I tried dabbing some on cloth but that just kind of streaked. Then my "aha!" moment. Vegetable oil spray! I gotta say, it worked great. Did everybody else know about this but me? Just incase you didn't, just spray a fine mist over the appliance and wipe. Sweet!

I was told that when you buy stainless steel appliances if you "season" them with a little baby oil it helps them be more resistant to finger prints etc.
ReplyDeleteThat makes erfect sense since, I think, baby oil is basically mineral oil. Of course, it'll then smell like a baby :D
